Like all fairs, Open Science Cambre has a series of slogans that are its hallmark and show, in a few words, the intention of its organizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forbidden DON\u00b4T touch<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The philosophy of the fairs in rural areas is similar to any science fair. The Cambre Open Science will follow the same model, but to make it more visible, the science fair will take place at the same time as the Cambre fair. Both have a common denominator: the public can \"try\" the merchandise before deciding to take it away. Visitors, parents, teachers or students will be able to observe and experience first-hand the experiences of young and adult researchers. In our fair it is forbidden NOT to touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Una feria de ciencia abierta se basa en la capacidad que tenemos para compartir nuestras experiencias, ofrecerlas a los dem\u00e1s y conseguir que sean replicables en otros centros u otros entornos. Los educadores, padres, maestros, monitores, debemos dejar de tener verg\u00fcenza de copiar. Todos tendremos que adaptarlo a nuestro entorno y combinarlo con nuevas ideas. Desde Open Science Cambre s\u00f3lo pedimos que se haga referencia al trabajo original y su creador, de esa forma podemos decir que en nuestra feria est\u00e1 Forbidden DON\u00b4T copy<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fair organized by and for young people<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fairs are a meeting place between young people from different places who show their projects to the visiting public. The protagonists, the young people, improve their communication and interactivity skills in different languages, their social and entrepreneurial skills and, of course, their scientific and technological skills. The Cambre Open Science is a fair organized by and for young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The families are welcoming<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Visiting other cities is often a unique experience for students working on their science projects throughout the year. The Open Science of Cambre has shown the customs and way of life of our environment, for this reason, we have created a group of welcoming families to receive in their homes students who come from nearby places such as Vigo, Ourense or Santiago, distant places such as Andalusia, Catalonia, Madrid or the Basque Country or places much further away such as Lithuania, Holland, the Czech Republic or Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We care about the references<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the premises of an open science fair is to normalize the presence of all kinds of disadvantaged groups. We offer references, people who improve their social role through science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Science is fun<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Science fairs allow an improvement in the relationship between teachers and students, generating a change in methodology that is much more effective in the long term. Students do not forget what they learn, because they are not telling it, they are living it. Yes, this experience is also fun and surprising, because we are in the Open Science of Cambre: shows, contests, scientific cafes, Escape Room. A whole set of activities to show that science is fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
